 The Department of Education is now focusing on learning gaps resulted from decades of flaws in the curriculum. On Program for International Student Assessment (PISA) 2018, the country was ranked 79th in Literacy and Numeracy ranking. This means in every 10 learners, 6 had poor literacy and numeracy skills expected to the learning age. In such, the department will now begin its Catch Up Friday Program on January 12, 2024. 

This program aims to address the problem of poor reading and computational skills of K-12 learners. We want to help you with the appropriate reading materials for DepEd Catch Up Friday Program.
