Latest Update on the 2024 Service Recognition Incentive (SRI)

Teachers' Dignity Coalition (TDC) Chairman Benjo Basas recently shared updates on the SRI 2024 for DepEd employees through his Facebook account. He confirmed that the incentive remains feasible, as the eligibility period extends until December 24, 2024.

Basas emphasized that they maintain regular communication with the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) regarding this matter. According to him, the DBM has already submitted a proposal to Malacañang for the approval of the SRI 2024.

"Nagbigay na po ng proposal ang DBM doon sa Malacañang para dito sa SRI 2024 kaya hintayin lang po natin 'yun," Basas stated.

He urged DepEd employees to remain patient and await the official issuance confirming the grant of the SRI 2024.

In conclusion, we remain hopeful that the Administrative Order for the SRI 2024, signed by the President, will be released soon.
